Credit Basics. What is a credit report? What is a credit score? What is the difference? How do they work together?



What Exactly is a Credit Report 

     A credit report is a record of a consumers debt history.  Generally, it covers the most recent ten years of payment history. It will also hold older history that continues to be relevant such as liens. 

    A credit report also contains personal information to identify the debtor. Also, I will disclose information regarding the creditor. Such information will be legal names, addresses.
